President

Michael Porter

Michael Porter has been in the investor relations industry for more than 40 years and co-founded PLR in 1971.  In addition, he has served on the board of several publicly held companies. In his earlier career, Michael was an analyst and portfolio manager for a NYSE member firm and major institution and has served on the board of directors of several companies. Michael earned a BS in Finance from Rider University and completed The Owners, Presidents and Managers course at Harvard University School of Business in May 2004. In 2009, Michael was appointed to the President’s Council at Rider University.

 

 
 

Chief Operating Officer

Lucille Belo

Lucille Belo has been with PLR since the agency was founded in 1971. She is an integral component in account programming and execution, overseeing company-wide operations, including investor relations, editorial, and human relations departments. Her more than 40 years experience working with management of small- and mid-cap companies gives Lucille extensive knowledge that she uses to ensure quality output and to maximize client exposure, as well as to provide PLR and its clients with insight and knowledge of almost every facet of investor relations. 

 

 
 

Senior Vice President

Marlon Nurse, D.M.

With over 20 years in the investor relations industry, including 10+ years at Porter, LeVay & Rose, Marlon has counseled clients on many important issues, including the effect that various corporate actions have on shareholder valued. These actions also include reverse mergers, dividend payout changes and acquisitions. In his role at PLR, Marlon strategically markets his clients to investors and analysts, communicates their progress to stakeholders, and consults with clients on various activities and events. His experience spans all market caps and industries, ranging from energy, specialty pharma, healthcare, environmental, and technology. His prior clients have included United Technologies, ITT Industries, Maytag Corporation and Thomas & Betts.  Prior to PLR, Marlon was a Director at Thomson Financial and Associate Director at Georgeson Shareholder.  His B.A. is in Management/Finance from Manhattanville College, and he holds an M.A. in Organizational Management and a Doctorate in Management(D.M.) from the University of Phoenix. 

 

 
 

Vice President

Matthew Abenante, IRC

Matthew Abenante brings to Porter, LeVay & Rose over ten years of experience in the investor relations field, working with more than 80 listed and private companies across many industries in developing and executing their investor relations programs. Prior to Porter, LeVay & Rose, Matthew was a Senior Account Executive at The Piacente Group, where he specialized in U.S. listed companies based in Asia, traveling extensively in the region, as well as an Investor Relations Advisor at Capital Link, an investor relations agency that focused on the global transportation industry, as well as Greece-based listed companies, master limited partnerships, closed-end funds and ETFs. Matthew began his career as an intern at Porter, LeVay & Rose in 2006, and was promoted to Account Associate in the same year. Matthew holds a master’s degree in investor relations from Fordham University, along with a bachelor’s degree in finance & investments from the City University of New York - Baruch College. Matthew currently sits on the Advisory Board for the Fordham University Masters in Investor Relations program.

 

 
 

Client Coordinator

Gloria Crispo

Gloria Crispo has been with Porter, LeVay & Rose since 1980, during which time she has been an integral component of the company.  She is a major point of contact between clients and the investment community.  Her responsibilities include ensuring that the logistics for all client marketing meetings are completed, and that client marketing kits adhere to industry standards and investor expectations.  She also researches developments in both the securities industry and industry segments that affect our clients.  Gloria received her Masters in Education and Counseling from Columbia University.  She received her BA from Fordham University with a major in history and minor in economics.  Gloria has also taken courses in investor relations, public relations, communications and related courses.
